101 Data Visualization and Analytics Projects (Paperback)

The clearest explanation of introductory & beginning I have come across.

I had been on the fence about this one for a while, and I should have bought it sooner. Some of the diagrams are dense and I had to reread a few sections, though that may just be me. The author is unusually honest about where the simplifications break down, which I appreciated. One of those books that pays for itself within the first few chapters. Highly recommended.

This is the one to get if you are serious about introductory & beginning.

I have been working with introductory & beginning for a few years now and I still found plenty here that was new to me. There is a section near the end that ties several earlier ideas together in a way I had not seen before. The explanations are careful without being condescending, which is a difficult balance to strike. Some of the diagrams are dense and I had to reread a few sections, though that may just be me. This is the book I wish had existed when I started working with introductory & beginning.

Exactly the book I needed. Straight to the point and genuinely useful.
